Our intention with this design is to help current victims of the recent fires in Los Angeles and Altadena. We are aware that many people will be under-insured, and will struggle to re-design their homes and feel safe again.

Our approach with this design is to use thermal masses and a few features that will reduce the ability of the fires to spread at a fast rate. Please note, it is highly recommended to explore the possibility of adding an automatic fire sprinkler system, or at the very least, Fire rated construction (Type V-A, rather than Type V-B).
